HISTORY
 |
Bill Hay began his
transportation career at the age of 15 as a
"gandy dancer" for the Union Pacific
Railroad. Soon thereafter, he enlisted in the
U.S. Marine Corps. State side and abroad, Bill
played an important role in the logistic
movements of our fighting forces.
After a distinguished career in the Marines, Bill
entered the business world and worked as the
Corporate Traffic Manager for the retail hardware
chain "The Handyman". |
In 1979, Bill Hay founded a
transportation consulting firm known as San Diego Traffic
Services. In 1983, the company applied for and obtained
its ICC Broker of Property license. In 1992 we changed
our name to Bill Hay International.
From the very beginning Bill realized that there was a
tremendous business opportunity moving freight into and
out of Mexico (a decade before The North American Free
Market Agreement was put into practice). He set out to
develop this niche in the market as the main focus of our
business.
Bill Hay International is proud to be the "Mexican
Connection" for all different kinds of companies.
Manufacturers, distributors, freight forwarders,
transportation brokers, and trucking companies call on us
for logistics solutions to and from Mexico.
If you would like to learn more about our services and
our company, please give Bill or any one of our staff a
call. We look forward to becoming your "Mexican
Connection".
